FERSENO, a large Etruscan city, destroyed totally by Romans (why, not usual behavior of Romans). FERSENO or FERSENIUM was constructed at the same place by Romans.

    Traditionally amphitheaters were rarely built of stone. Because of the social criticism of the performances, the Romans amphitheaters were built of wood to be easily destroyed.
